Driven by a curiosity to better understand human behavior and a flair for imagining what’s possible, Christine is a seasoned consumer pharmaceutical marketing executive who has spent over 25 years trailblazing new categories, brands and experiences.
Her empathetic approach and ability to listen deeply help uncover friction points and opportunities as a marketer and leader. She is a natural facilitator and collaborator, relentlessly focused on progress and results.
Christine is passionate about nurturing individuality, celebrating the human spirit, prioritizing well-being, and is a protector of belonging and human connection.
Christine joined Novo Nordisk in 2007 and has spent the last 10 years dedicated to changing how we see, view and treat obesity. As the consumer obesity lead, she and her team oversee strategy, content and experience to enhance and destigmatize obesity care.
She earned her BA in Communication from Rutgers University and completed the Harvard Program in Obesity Strategy, Harvard Business School in 2021.
Tejal Vishalpura

Tejal Vishalpura, PharmD, joined Novo Nordisk, Inc. in March 2023 as Senior Vice President, Marketing, and was appointed Senior Vice President, Commercial Strategy & Marketing in January 2024. In this role, Tejal is responsible for leading the commercial strategy for Novo Nordisk’s innovative cardiometabolic therapy areas, to deliver transformative and human-centered experiences that put patient and customer needs first. Tejal is a transformational leader passionate about advancing capabilities of employees in support of discovering the potential of modern medicines so that Americans living with serious diseases have an opportunity to unlock their full human potential.
Before joining Novo Nordisk, Tejal served as VP Global Head of Capabilities and Learning dedicated to building enterprise, medical, scientific, value and access capabilities, customer experience and integrated business planning. Prior to that, she was VP Global Head of Marketing and Launch Excellence where she was responsible for transforming launch capabilities across the Pharma division. While at Novartis, she also served as VP US Head of Immunology, Inflammatory Disease & Transplant Business Unit leading the business to sales growth. She joined Novartis in 2018 as VP US Market Access National Accounts where she was also a member of the Executive Diversity Council.
Prior to Novartis, Tejal was at GlaxoSmithKline where she held multiple leadership roles of escalating responsibility including VP Pipeline Product Development, VP US Primary Care Sales, and Global Head of Digital Transformation.
She started her post-graduate career at Xcenda (Amerisource Bergen Specialty Group Consulting), providing corporate and brand strategy consulting services for Biotech companies.
Tejal has a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from The Ohio State University and is a recipient of the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association National Rising Star Award.
Anne McCaughan

Anne McCaughan is a visionary commercial leader with a proven track record of successfully launching, growing and sunsetting brands within the obesity and diabetes markets. With over 20 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, Anne has consistently demonstrated her ability to inspire and lead others by setting clear and inspirational visions. She is deeply committed to finding innovative solutions to overcome challenges and ignite positive action among both internal and external stakeholders. Anne's leadership style is characterized by her relentless pursuit of learning and her passion for helping her teams exceed goals by mastering new skills and fostering collaboration to drive continuous improvement for herself and those around her.
Anne is currently the Senior Brand Director of the obesity franchise at Novo Nordisk, where she leads the HCP Strategy & Market Development team for inline and pipeline products. She was instrumental in launching Wegovy® and is committed to driving change in how the world sees, prevents and treats obesity.
Anne previously worked in the diabetes space primarily focused on the injectable GLP-1 RAs Ozempic® and Victoza® and has also held various sale leadership roles.
Anne in Danish by birth and started her career in Denmark at Novo Nordisk headquarters in marketing, She holds a M.Sc. in International Business Administration and Modern Languages from Copenhagen Business School and University of British Columbia.
Anne has earned several recognitions for her outstanding achievements, including the MM&M Pinnacle Award in 2024 and the MM&M Best Launch Award for Wegovy®.
